Now is the time to counteract the humanitarian crisis
The humanitarian crisis for the people in and from Gaza is almost impossible to put into words. Unfortunately, as is so often the case, children are the most vulnerable and consequently the most affected.
The daily threat from bombs, tanks and drones, combined with a lack of medical care and the extreme shortage of food and water, turns into a constant struggle for survival.

An estimated 150,000 people displaced from Gaza are currently in Egypt. Approximately 75% of them are children and women.
In Cairo, however, many of them slip through the cracks of established aid structures. Consequently, neither state aid nor support intervenes.
Protection mechanisms, nor the programs of many aid organizations that are formally only responsible for recognized refugees.
This is where we come in!
Emergency aid for the most needy
Together with our partner "Wir packen's an" and the "Lifeblood Foundation" on site, we regularly support approximately 900 - 1,200 Palestinian children and about 300 families in Cairo.
Our support aims to provide essential goods to particularly needy Palestinian children and their mothers who have been displaced from Gaza.
We regularly distribute a comprehensive food package containing shelf-stable staple foods such as rice, pasta, chickpeas, beans, to 300 families (approx. 900 - 1,200 children, of which approx. 50% are between 0 and 5 years old).
Lentils, tomato sauce, cooking oil, salt, and sugar. This ration ensures a reliable basic supply for several weeks.
In addition, we issue monthly supermarket vouchers that allow mothers to individually purchase not only fresh food such as fruit, vegetables, milk and egg products, but also age-appropriate items such as baby diapers or baby food.

Supply of hygiene kits
To stabilize the health situation and provide financial relief to mothers and children, we also regularly distribute comprehensive hygiene kits. These contain, among other things, soap, shampoo, laundry and dishwashing liquid, toothpaste, wet wipes, and feminine hygiene products.
