KEP is, so to speak, our pride and joy.

We founded this very special place in 2019 and have successfully established it.

​

Approximately 75% of the refugees living in Turkey are women and children. For them, it is particularly difficult, often without the protection and support of their families, to establish themselves in a foreign country. Getting a work permit or vocational training without being exploited is nearly unattainable for many women.

In our Women Empowerment Center KEP, located in the heart of Izmir, women receive these very opportunities. Through various courses, crafts, and activities, our participants build their self-confidence and learn how to establish themselves in a foreign culture and secure their livelihoods for themselves and their children.
